Dog Days at SF Zoo Thursday, October 9, 2025 – On sale now!
Guests may bring their well-behaved, leashed dog to the Zoo on specially announced dates during Dog Days at SF Zoo. Dogs may only attend on designated dates and with advance reservation as only a limited number of dogs may be on Zoo grounds at any one time.
How to Register
Due to the overwhelming popularity of Dog Days at SF Zoo, we will now be charging dog owner guests for a dog ticket when participating in this twice-monthly event. Dog tickets are $22.00 per dog, one dog per responsible adult aged 18 and up. For those guests who have previously submitted your information for selection, please note that we are no longer admitting dogs and their owners via the submission form to be randomly selected. Instead, the opening for the ticket purchase will take place in advance of the event day.
Our next Dog Days will take place on Thursday, October 9. Tickets for this upcoming event will be a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets are available but they do sell out quickly, purchase yours today!
Entry to the Zoo
Once you are selected to attend Dog Days, you will receive a time slot when you and your dog will be allowed to enter the Zoo. Guests will receive a map designating where you may safely bring your dog.
Dogs may only access areas where there is a physical barrier that separates Zoo animals and dogs. Dogs are not allowed in the South American Tropical Rainforest & Aviary, African Aviary, Children’s Zoo Family Farm, Wildlife Theater and Nature Trail.
